If you read the letter that the IBT sent it states "we represent a diverse membership of workers" yet it DOES NOT represent that diverse membership of workers when it comes to the IBT GEB, administration and IBT Organizing Department.

We represent 1.2 million. We are losing members.

The question comes to mind. Can Teamster members or retired members use the logo if a) Union funds are not being used on the site or b) nothing is being sold with the Union logo. This sounds like what the NLRB shot down Trader Joe's and Starbucks over. Looks like the International wants to take a page from the corporate playbook.

Over the past 10 years, the IBT has operated more like a greedy corporation than a member's trade union.

The IBT operates with a heavy hand targeting any dissenting voices. The disenfrachosrment of teamster members has never been this bad.

This union while tryng to organize new members, telling them every worker should be a union member, they retaliate against IBT staff wanting to organize their own union.

This union inviting the most anti-union president in American history to stand in the IBT headquarters and proclaim support of the Teamsters. So sad.

If these idiots donate a single dollar of DRIVE funds to Trump, every Teamster member should cancel their donations.

The union uses union funds to prop-up favored locals and local communities, while taking resources away from those areas that dare to challenge the IBT leaders or their actions.

And, I find it discouraging that elected as "reformers", the OZ group had the highest LM-2 wages since the Presser years of organized crime and corruption at the IBT.

These reformers wasted more money in 2022 than any group of IBT leaders, EVER. never did they disclose the cost of their Teamster Summer vacation to Rome to meet the Pope?

Our union dues paid for OZ leaders and their families to spend a week or more in Rome meeting the Pope.

What UNION BUSINESS was conducted justifying wasting tens of thousands in union funds?

I find it discouraging that the IBT is targeting Teamsterlink, just prior to filing the IBT required disclosures with the Office of Labor Management Standards (OLMS). Last year, only Teamsterlink posted the high salaries of our IBT leadership.

RESPONSE REGARDING TEAMSTERLINK USE OF THE LOGO
We cannot stand for the politics of retaliation and retribution. Are you listening, Sean O'Brien? Are you listening and paying attention, IBT Executive Board? We are a bottom-up, rank and file driven member organization. We elect our leaders to address the concerns, wants and desires of the membership. We will not accept dictation from our leadership. We expect and demand openness, honesty and transparency. Hypocrisy appears to be, and hopefully is not the norm. Please be advised, our leadership works FOR the members!!! We voted you in; we will vote you out! We refuse to accept a "Master / Slave" relationship. Members FIRST, NOW & FOREVER! ! ENOUGH SAID!!

There are some aspects of the organizing model being implemented but it is still not being fully embraced by this current administration.

There are questions about how good the new contracts have been.

The motion picture contract of 2021, claimed to be a great contract, but actually cost workers a lit of money. Negotiating a 3% per year esge increase while inflation is 8 or 9 % is not a good contract.

The UPS contract and threat of strike has resulted in 1000s of lost jobs and more to come.

The IBT engaged in lots of theatrics while negotiating a concession filled contract. The sub contracting language and technology language will hurt tens if thousands of Teamster workers.

The IBT was MIA as YRC closed. Only the childish posts by the General President calling the YRC CEO names. 22,000 Teamsters lost their jobs, the health benefits and their pensions.

Recently, after a strong effort to organize the DHL superhub in Cincinnati, they negotiated another concession filled contract.

The organizers promised $35/hour. The company has been advertising $24 / hour for more than a year. Our IBT-Local 100 negotiating committee... got $22/ hour starting wage (only $13 hour less than promised).

Promised paid health benefits. They got cut rate plan for free, or pay half for the decent plan.

Promised a Teamster pension, again failed... got an extra 2% match. Which DHL has extended to all their workers, union or not.

Critically speaking the only Teamsters benefiting from this new group at the IBT, is the new group at the IBT.
