Vinny Perrone is a loose cannon

Loosing your job because of another Teamster is a horrible thing. To lose it because of your own Principle Officer's actions is disgusting. Local 804 President Vinny Perone did just that. The thoughtless tough guy act can sometimes catch up to you and others may suffer the consequences. This goes beyond painting your finger nails to piss off the manager or parking a truck with their name on the side outside the personal residence of management.Almost 2 dozen members lost their jobs because of such peril. Some members feel it is just to keep this under raps, but I won't. Mr. Perrone is an International Vice President and affects me as well. I believe he should be punished for his actions.

Let's not forget Sean O'Brien did about the same and then did the most chicken sh!t move and lied about it. At least Vinny knows what he did was unjustified.

Thats Perrone alright and it also describes so many leaders in our union. The tough guy routine only works so long before members start looking for results. Perrone was at the table for the UPS negotiations and had an opportunity to fix a lot, within two months he was complaining about UPS management not keeping their word. Really what did he expect?

I heard some of these guys terminated got their jobs back. I'm wondering exactly why they terminated from the beginning or maybe I missed something in the attachments.

I read that in the stuff Dana posted but what was the "mistake " that got a bunch of people fired then apparently suspended. UPS didn't just fire them for nothing what happened?

From what I understand, he told people that they didn't have to work Saturday and not go to work after their shift was changed from Monday-Friday to Tuesday-Saturday.
